Privacy Policy
1. General
This Privacy Policy describes how personal data of users of the VPano platform is processed. It applies to the website vpano.tech, the platform at my.vpano.tech and the Russian-language site vpano.ru, which run on the same platform.

This Policy is based on Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” of the Russian Federation and the regulations of Roskomnadzor. By using the website you confirm that you have read this Policy and consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes described here.
2. Personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the platform, we may process:
- Registration data: name, email address, name of the company or studio, password hash.
- Profile data: avatar, description, public link (slug).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, user agent, date and time of requests.
- Browser storage data: session token, interface settings, consent flag (see section 7).
- Enquiries: name, email, company (optional) and message text when you send the request form on vpano.tech or the contact form on vpano.ru.
- Data on acceptance of the public offer (paid plans): IP address, user agent, date and time of acceptance, payment ID, offer version.
We do not collect special categories of personal data (racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, health and similar).
3. Purposes of processing

4. Legal basis
- Consent of the data subject (Art. 9 of 152-FZ) — when you register and use the website.
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (5) of 152-FZ) — to provide the platform to registered users.
- Legitimate interests of the operator (security, fraud prevention) — when processing technical data.
5. Storage and protection
Personal data is stored in a database on protected servers in the Russian Federation (hosting provider Beget, data centre in Russia), in accordance with Art. 18 (5) of 152-FZ. Primary recording and storage of personal data takes place exclusively in Russia.
Technical processing (running database queries, building interface responses) may take place on servers outside Russia (Germany, hosting provider Hetzner). Data transferred between servers is encrypted with TLS.
The operator applies organisational and technical safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), passwords stored only as a hash (bcrypt), restricted database access and regular backups.
Data is kept no longer than necessary for the purposes of processing:
- Account and related data — until the account is deleted by the user or the operator.
- Request logs — up to 90 days.
- Enquiries sent through a form — up to 1 year after receipt.
6. Disclosure to third parties
The operator does not sell personal data or pass it on to third parties for commercial purposes. Data is disclosed only:
- at the request of authorised government bodies in the manner prescribed by Russian law;
- to the extent needed to run the service: hosting (Beget, Russia — database; Hetzner, Germany — request processing) and email delivery (SMTP), under contracts with data protection obligations.
Cross-border transfer (Art. 12 of 152-FZ) takes place only for technical processing and is encrypted. Primary storage always remains in the Russian Federation.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The website vpano.tech does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The platform my.vpano.tech uses only technically necessary first-party entries:

These entries are kept in the browser’s localStorage, not in HTTP cookies. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings. Deleting them may log you out or reset your settings.
8. Your rights
Under Articles 14–17 of 152-FZ you have the right to:
- Access: confirmation that your data is processed and a copy of it.
- Rectification: correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: destruction of your personal data where there are grounds for it.
- Restriction: stopping the processing in certain cases.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdrawing consent you gave earlier; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal.
- Complaint: lodging a complaint with Roskomnadzor, the Russian data protection authority.

9. Changes to this Policy
The operator may change this Policy. The current version is always available at vpano.tech/privacy/. Users are informed of significant changes by email or in the platform. Continued use of the website after an updated Policy is published means you accept the changes.
This English text is a translation. If it differs from the Russian version at vpano.ru/legal/privacy/, the Russian version prevails.
